PAUL QUIN is regarded as an innovator and pioneer in Irish electronic pop music, making records since the late 1980's when as one half of synth pop duo BIAZARRE he enjoyed a smash hit radio single with ‘A Better Place/ ‘The Colour Of Rain'.

After a walk on part in The Commitments (‘I've come about the audition'), fleeting full frontal nudity in a Terry McMahon directed stage play (that thankfully few people saw and fewer remember), two ep's, numerous artist collaborations and songs featured on various seminal Irish Dance Music releases PAUL QUIN singer, songwriter, recording artist and iconic visual maverick makes a long overdue return to the live stage, in the glorious surrounds of The Pepper Canister Church, Dublin.

LIVE ON EARTH is the culmination of two and a half years of writing and recording Quin's first full length long player ‘Life On Earth' with producer and co-writer Aidan Casserly and a host of other fine Irish musicians. The album will be released simultaneously with this event, worldwide on June 11th by Scent Air Records with physical CD copies of the album available on the night. Three extremely well received singles have preceded this album, all receiving considerable airplay on Cork's Red FM, Newstalk FM, KCLR, RTE 2XM, Dublin City FM, and NEAR FM to name but a few.

All have also now had airplay in the UK, France, Germany, Canada and Scandinavia as well as constant rotation on Britain's WIGWAM radio station. Current offering ‘Everything I Loved I Lost That Day' was a Radio Indie Alliance Chart Number one single, a record of the week with Martin Bridgman and had its music video premiere with HOT PRESS Magazine in December.

At The Pepper Canister Paul plays the new album in its entirety as well as telling some of the stories behind the songs, all of which are tales about our ordinary lives, with all their joy and pain, hope and sadness set to swirling Analogue synth and orchestral sounds and beats that will fill the heart and shine some light on lives that are often overlooked, excluded or left behind. As a prominent member of the growing LGBTI+ family these songs and stories are about both the thrill and the loneliness of growing up on the outside looking in.

Emerging genre deconstructing duo FROZEN STARES open the show while Paul will be joined on stage for special duets with guests, legendary Irish Jazz and blues singer FLO McSWEENEY and Irish musical Goddess KEELEY, whose star is in the ascendant towards the dizziest heights plus another very, very special guest to be announced.
